Liam will be recognized at the institute wide Student Honors Day Luncheon on April 17th, 2008 in the Student Center Ballroom.
Liam Rattray (PUBPOL) Community Service Award for the student who has excelled in community service involvement. Liam started and serves as lead coordinator for the new Georgia Tech Sustainable Food Project. The Georgia Tech Sustainable Food Project is a coalition of individuals and entities who are working to institutionalize sustainable food services and pedagogy through experimental pioneer programs at Georgia Tech. This program comprises of a campus supported agriculture program with over 30 registered participants and a campus community gardening program. He is also working with Dining Services to help them source fair, local and organic food for the Georgia Tech campus.
