Our Cool Professors

During 2007-2008, these were the accomplishments of professors in the School of Public Policy:

1 person shared in the Nobel Peace Prize

1 person became a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science

4 people published books

4 people taught more than 100 students

4 people gave 10 or more invited presentations

8 people took substantial lead roles in administration for the School, College, or Institute

9 people had 4 or more articles or book chapters in print

10 people participated in grants worth more than $500,000

10 people coauthored articles or chapters with current or former students

10 people held elected or appointed office in national organizations

52 journal articles and book chapters were published by full-time Public Policy faculty

… and the mean teaching effectiveness score in the School was 4.32 — higher than the GT and IAC averages.

Overall, a very good year!
