Invitation to Seminar on Korean Security and Energy Policy

On February 26, CISTP is sponsoring an all-day seminar on the Six Party Talks and Korea’s Energy Security.

This is a significant and timely event with an illustrious group of speakers including:
Ambassador James T. Laney, Emory University president emeritus and former US Ambassador to South Korea;
Ambassador Hae-jin Chun, Korean Consul General;
Mr. Kurt Tong, director of the Korea Desk, US Department of State;
Minister Kim Myong-gil (invited), North Korean deputy ambassador to the United Nations.
If all goes as planned, we will have a representative from the North Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the US Department of State as participants.

Public Policy students might have special interest in attending and are specifically invited.  The Conference is an all day event, so attendees can come as their schedules permit.  However,  a firm RSVP is needed for anyone who plans to eat lunch;  send a message to angela.levin@inta.gatech.edu
