Criminal Law opportunity on Campus

Are you interested in criminal law?  Would you like to get involved in community-oriented policing on campus and serve as a Community Liaison to the Crime Prevention Unit?  Then campus police Officer Ian Mayberry is looking for you!  (This is a line for your resume.)  Contact:  ian.mayberry@police.gatech.edu or call him at 404-894-1288. (His message follows.)

I am writing to invite everyone to a Town Hall Meeting being hosted by the Georgia Institute of Technology Police Department in the Student Center Theater Room next Monday evening, February 23rd, at 5:30pm.  The topics that will be covered are our Recent Crime Trends, The Clean Car Campaign, and also Community-Involved Policing.  Additionally, there will be discussion time for community questions and concerns.  Please plan to attend, and direct any questions about the even to me via e-mail at ian.mayberry@police.gatech.edu.

Also of note, I am looking for several students to serve as Community Liaisons to the Georgia Tech Crime Prevention Unit.  I am looking for as many as ten students who would like to participate in discussions about Crime Prevention on campus, help distribute information in their dorms and classroom buildings, and be involved with helping to keep our community safe.  In addition to helping your community, you will receive recognition from our department for your involvement, and it would certainly be a good resume builder.  If you or someone you know would be interested in participating, please contact me at the e-mail address listed above.
