Public Health Event!

“Destination Public Health: Locally, Nationally, Globally” one day event designed to introduce undergraduate students and undergraduate pre-health advisors to the field of public health.Earlier this year, you pledged your support when a team at the Rollins School of Public Health submitted a proposal to ASPH (Association of Schools of Public Health) to secure funding.We are pleased to report that we have received funding for this event! We hope that you will join us for this program.

Our event is “Destination Public Health: Locally, Nationally, Globally,” and it will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2009. This event will explore the disciplines within public health, as well as introduce college students and health career advisors to renowned public health professionals and representatives from a variety of public health agencies in the Atlanta area. In your commitment to outreach for this program, please forward this information to your students interested in a health career or graduate study, as well as to your colleagues that advise pre-health college students. Please note that preregistration for this event is required, and the deadline is September 4, 2009.
